47. Carl William Fischer25 was born on 31 March 1909 on the family farm in the Pella community, rural Adams, Lancaster County, Nebraska. He was baptized in June 1909 in the Pella Reformed Church, rural Adams, Lancaster County, Nebraska. He received elementary education at Lancaster County Public Schools, District 20, "Wooden Shoe" located at 176th street and Firth road in rural Adams, Lancaster County, Nebraska. Between 1932 and 1997 he was a farmer in the Pella community, rural Adams, Lancaster County, Nebraska. He was a type two diabetic.. He died on 13 November 1999 at the age of 90 in Lincoln, Lancaster County, Nebraska. He was buried in the Pella cemetery, Pella, rural Adams, Lancaster County, Nebraska.

Carl William Fischer and Janet Lorraine Vanderbeek were married on 15 June 1932 at the Justice of the Peace in Lincoln, Lancaster County, Nebraska. They started married life on the GJH Fischer farm located at Firth road and 176th (NE corner) street which they rented along with other farms in the area. They started farming with four horses and two mules. They traded in the four horses to purchase their first tractor, a John Deere Model "B" in 1938. They lived on this farm until 1944 when they moved to the Fischer home place at 176th street and Firth road NW corner) after the death of GJH Fischer. They purchased the Fischer home place in 1952 after the death of his mother Diena Vanderbeek Fischer. They lived here the remainder of their lives. They were members of the Pella Reformed Church, Pella, rural Adams, Lancaster County, Nebraska. Carl served as Deacon, Elder, and Sunday School Superintendent. He sang in the Men's Chorus and men's quartets. Janet was active in women's circles and Sunday School at Pella.
Janet Lorraine Vanderbeek, daughter of Garrett Vanderbeek and Amelia Bade, was born on 13 August 1910 on the family farm in rural Holland, Hickman, Lancaster County, Nebraska area. She was baptized in 1910 at the Holland Reformed Church in Holland, Hickman, Lancaster County, Nebraska. When her family moved to the Otoe County farm their church affiliation changed to the Panama Presbyterian Church which was nearby, and she attended there with her family. She received her elementary education at Solen Country School in Otoe County Nebraska. Janet graduated in 1924 from Solen Country School, Otoe county Public Schools, in rural Douglas, Otoe County, Nebraska. She then attended Panama High School for one year. It was then necessary for her and her sister Ruth to care for their invalid mother who broke her hip and was bed ridden for the remainder of her life.
Janet and her sister Ruth became responsible for the running of the family household at a very early age and did all the chores, laundry and cooking for their father and brothers Adolph and Tom. She died on 23 February 1997 at the age of 86 at the Lakeview Nursing Home in Firth, Lancaster County, Nebraska. She was buried on 27 February 1997 in the Pella cemetery, Pella, rural Adams, Lancaster County, Nebraska.

Ronald Dell Fischer was born on 26 July 1936 on the family farm in the Pella community, rural Adams, Lancaster County, Nebraska. He was baptized in 1936 in the Pella Reformed Church, rural Adams, Lancaster County, Nebraska. He died on 3 June 1941 at the age of 4 on the family farm in Pella community, rural Adams, Lancaster County, Nebraska. He died as a result of a household accident. He was buried on 6 June 1941 in the Pella cemetery, Pella, rural Adams, Lancaster County, Nebraska.
