44. Frona Fischer22,23 was born on 11 August 1900 on the family farm in the Pella community, rural Adams, Lancaster County, Nebraska. She was born while her parents were living on the Van Oosten farm one mile east of the Pella Church. She was baptized in September 1900 at the in Pella Reformed Church, Adams, Lancaster County, Nebraska. She received elementary education at Lancaster County Public Schools, District 20, "Wooden Shoe" located at 176th street and Firth road in rural Adams, Lancaster County, Nebraska. She died on 16 September 1970 at the age of 70 in Lincoln, Lancaster County, Nebraska. She was buried on 19 September 1970 in the Pella cemetery, Pella, rural Adams, Lancaster County, Nebraska. Frona had musical skills, played the piano and organ and directed choirs at churches she and Arthur attended.

Frona Fischer and Arthur DeYong19 were married on 11 February 1924 at the home of her parents in Pella community, rural Adams, Lancaster County, Nebraska. They were married in a double wedding with her sister Annie and Ted Kroese at the GJH Fischer home. They started married life on a rented farm located at 176th street and Princeton road, NE corner. Lyle was born while they lived here. They then moved to a rented farm located at the SE corner of Firth road and the Otoe County line. Jane and Margie were born here. After his fathers retirement, they moved to DeYong home place located on the Firth road, west of the Otoe County line (NW corner) and lived there until 1955 when they sold their livestock and farm equipment and moved to Lincoln, Lancaster County, Nebraska.
They were members of the Pella Reformed Church until they moved to Lincoln. They then transferred their membership to the Hope Reformed Church in Lincoln, Lancaster County,Nebraska. Arthur DeYong, son of Anthony DeYong and Lillie Bakker, was born on 27 April 1901 on the family farm in the Pella community, rural Adams, Lancaster County, Nebraska. He was baptized in May 1901 at the Pella Reformed Church in Pella, rural Adams, Lancaster County, Nebraska. Arthur was active in the churches they attended and served as Deacon, Elder and Sunday School teacher for many years. He received elementary education at Lancaster County Public Schools, District 20, "Wooden Shoe" located at 176th street and Firth road in rural Adams, Lancaster County, Nebraska. Between 1924 and 1955 he was a farmer in the Pella community, rural Adams, Lancaster County, Nebraska. He was an experienced carpenter and built farm buildings for many of the farmers in the area. Between 1955 and 1970 Arthur was a Lincoln Public Schools maintenance technician, in Lincoln, Lancaster County, Nebraska. He died on 8 June 1982 at the age of 81 in Lincoln, Lancaster County, Nebraska. He was buried in the Pella cemetery, Pella, rural Adams, Lancaster County, Nebraska.
