118. Shirley Louise Fischer was born on 1 July 1935 on the family farm, rural Douglas, Otoe County, Nebraska. She was baptized in August 1935 in the Pella Reformed Church, rural Adams, Lancaster County, Nebraska. She received elementary education at Lancaster County Public Schools, District 20, "Wooden Shoe" located at 176th street and Firth road in rural Adams, Lancaster County, Nebraska. She graduated in 1953 from Panama High School in Panama, Lancaster County, Nebraska.

Shirley Louise Fischer and Duane Topp were married on 22 May 1953 at Pella Reformed Church in Pella community, rural Adams, Lancaster County, Nebraska. They owned and operated a 320 acre grain and hog farm at 176th street and Pella road, NE and SE corners. They have continued to live on their farm after retirement. Their daughter and son-in-law, Cindy and Doug Holden farm their land.
They were lifelong members of the Pella Reformed Church, Pella, Lancaster County,Nebraska. Duane Topp, son of Anthonie Ramey Topp and Mae Mildred Burling, was born on 14 May 1932 on the family farm, rural Adams, Lancaster County, Nebraska. He was baptized in 1932 in the Pella Reformed Church, rural Adams, Lancaster County, Nebraska. He received elementary education at Lancaster County Public Schools, District 20, "Wooden Shoe" located at 176th street and Firth road in rural Adams, Lancaster County, Nebraska. He graduated in 1950 from Panama High School in Panama, Lancaster County, Nebraska. He was a farmer in the Pella community, rural Adams, Lancaster County, Nebraska.
