99. Lyle Deane DeYong was born on 21 August 1925 in Pella community, rural Adams, Lancaster County, Nebraska. He was baptized in September 1925 at the Pella Reformed Church, rural Adams, Gage County, Nebraska. Lyle Deane received elementary education at Lancaster County Public Schools, District 20, "Wooden Shoe" located at 176th street and Firth road in rural Adams, Lancaster County, Nebraska. He graduated in 1942 from Panama High School in Panama, Lancaster County, Nebraska. He served in the United States Army in 1945–1946. He enlisted just before the end of the world warII and served in the United States Army of occupation in Japan. Lyle graduated in 1948 from Lincoln School of Commerce in Lincoln, Lancaster County, Nebraska and was employed for many years at seed corn distributors in southeast Nebraska and Iowa. He was a member of the Hope Reformed Church in Lincoln, Lancaster County, Nebraska. He served on the Hope consistory for many years, first as a Deacon and also as an Elder. He died on 6 October 2009 at the age of 84 in Lincoln, Lancaster County, Nebraska. He was buried in the Pella cemetery, Pella, rural Adams, Lancaster County, Nebraska. He had diabetes late in life.

Lyle Deane DeYong and Lucille Drent were married on 16 June 1945 in Camp Fannin, Tyler, Smith County, Texas. Lucille was employed as a secretary for many years and is now retired. They lived in Lincoln, Lancaster County, Nebraska in retirement. Lucille Drent, daughter of John Drent and Marie Ellis, was born on 29 October 1925 in Panama, Lancaster County, Nebraska. She graduated in 1943 from Panama High School in Panama, Lancaster County, Nebraska. She is a member of Hope Reformed Church in Lincoln, Lancaster County, Nebraska.
