90. Dean Eugene Kroese33 was born on 17 December 1922 in Pella community, rural Adams, Lancaster County, Nebraska. He received his elementary education at in Pella country School, Lancaster County, Nebraska. He graduated in 1939 from Panama High School in Panama, Lancaster County, Nebraska. Dean died on 8 July 2001 at the age of 78 in Panama, Lancaster County, Nebraska. He was buried in Lincoln Memorial Park, Lincoln, Lancaster County, Nebraska. He assisted his father on the family farm following graduation from Panama High School. He then enlisted in the United States Navy shortly after the start of World War II and served in the Islands off Alaska. He was discharged shortly after the end of World War II and worked for several years at the Panama, Nebraska grain elevator owned by his uncle George Kroese. He managed grain elevators in Panama, Lancaster county, Nebraska, Corning, Neath County, Kansas and Richland, Shawnee County, Kansas. He returned to Panama, Nebraska and purchased the Panama Grain Elevator after his Uncle George Kroese's death. Later he sold the Panama Grain Elevator and worked at the ADM Soybean processing plant in Havelock, Lancaster County, Nebraska and continued there until his retirement. In retirement he lived in Panama, Nebraska with his wife Valore and farmed the two farms he owned nearby.

Dean Eugene Kroese and Martha McDonald were married in Lincoln, Lancaster County, Nebraska. They were divorced. Martha McDonald was born on 6 October 1921 in Butler, Butler County, Pennsylvania. She died on 1 August 1999 at the age of 77 in Lenox, Taylor County, Iowa. She requested an Anatomical donation to the University of Nebraska Medical center.

Dean Eugene Kroese and Velore Maddy Cheney were married. Velore Maddy Cheney, daughter of Gade Maddy and Dorothy Maddy, was born on 4 October 1921 in Bennet, Lancaster County, Nebraska. She died on 14 May 2007 at the age of 85 while residing at Goldcrest Nursing Home in Adams, Gage County, Nebraska. She was buried in July 2007 in Lincoln Memorial Park, Lincoln, Lancaster County, Nebraska.
