92. Garret Kenneth Kroese was born on 11 May 1926 in Pella community, rural Adams, Lancaster County, Nebraska. He received his elementary education at in Pella country School, Lancaster County, Nebraska. He graduated in 1945 from Panama High School in Panama, Lancaster County, Nebraska. Garret served in the United States Army . He died on 4 July 1978 at the age of 52 in the Pella community, rural Adams, Lancaster County, Nebraska. He was buried in the Pella cemetery, Pella, rural Adams, Lancaster County, Nebraska. He farmed with his father for several years until he and his brother, Glen, established Kroese Brothers Farms. They purchased their parents farm and other nearby acreages and operated a grain and hog farming operation until Garrets early death in 1978. Dry land farming in SE Nebraska suffered from several drought years during the 1950's and 1960's. They were the first farmers in the area to install center pivot irrigation systems on their farms.

Garret Kenneth Kroese and Norma Grams were married on 22 March 1957 in Campbell, Franklin County, Nebraska. They were members of the Pella Reformed Church at Pella, Lancaster County,Nebraska. Norma Grams, daughter of Albert Grams and Ruth Fies, was born in Hebron, Thayer County, Nebraska. She graduated from Campbell High School in Campbell, Franklin County, Nebraska.

Todd Garret Kroese was born on 31 March 1965 in Lincoln, Lancaster County, Nebraska. He graduated from Norris High School in Firth, Lancaster County, Nebraska.. He was a farmer in the Pella community, rural Adams, Lancaster County, Nebraska area. Todd died on 29 January 1990 at the age of 24 in the Firth, Lancaster County, Nebraska area. He died from injuries received when his pickup was struck by a Burlington Northern freight train at an unmarked country road crossing. He was buried in the Pella cemetery, Pella, rural Adams, Lancaster County, Nebraska.
